Education: Virginia Tech- bachelors in Animal Science (Undergrad, graduated in 2013); Virginia Tech- DVM (graduated in 2005)

Experience: After undergrad, she spent several exciting years in Texas where she managed an equine breeding and training facility. After receiving her veterinary degree at Virginia Tech, she returned to Texas where she specialized in equine lameness and performance quarter horse breeding before moving back to the East coast to practice small animal medicine. She has been practicing small animal medicine in the Virginia Beach area for the past ten years. She also enjoys orthopedic cases and performing acupuncture on the injured and the geriatric.

Interests: Spending time with her family, riding horses, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors

Family: Pat (husband) and Julie (daughter)

Pets: Duma (Boerboel), Sabie (Australian shepherd), Kitty (Cat), Boots (horse), Bebe (horse), Benjamin (Guinea pig), Peter (Guinea pig), Flower (Hamster)
