Dr. Kaitlyn McBane joins Vinton Animal Hospital after practicing in Franklin County, VA for the last two years. Dr. McBane is a Virginia Tech graduate and received her DVM from VA-MD College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. As a Roanoke native, Dr. McBane is happy to be working in and serving a community she loves. Her professional interests include internal medicine, neurology, and veterinary acupuncture for small and exotic animals. Dr. McBane received her acupuncture certification from Curacore in Fort Collins, CO, and is excited about using this skillset at Vinton Vet.

When Dr. McBane isn’t caring for animals at work, she is caring for two dogs, two cats, and three children. Dr. McBane lives in the Cave Spring area of Roanoke with her husband Conner, and her hobbies include hiking in the Appalachian Mountains, biking to downtown Roanoke, and traveling to new places.
