Dr. Megan Epperly has been practicing in the Lynchburg and Smith Mountain Lake areas since graduation from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (Virginia Tech) in 2018. Originally a Maryland native, she earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Animal Science from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2014. Dr. Epperly believes very strongly that pets are family, and is committed to treating each one as if they were her own. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery and wound care, ultrasound, and teaching. She and her husband recently moved to the Blue Ridge area with their two beagles, one cat, and daughter. In her remaining free time, she can be found horseback riding, gardening, and cycling.
